2012 360 Sports Racing Application
Thank you for considering the 360 Sports Race Team in 2012! With the help of 360 Sports Bicycle Shop, our goal is to continue to provide an environment for our race team to grow and develop their bike racing skills. Our team goals will be to promote our sponsors through race participation, develop our team members ability to race, and reward individuals’ hard work and dedication to bicycle racing.
To meet our goals, we are offering you the benefits outlined below in exchange for your commitment to meet our race team requirements. By completing and submitting this application, you agree to the terms that are set forth in this document.
Race Team Requirements
In order to obtain any or all of the team benefits outlined below, you agree to commit to the following requirements:
- Compete in and finish the required race days for your category in 2012 (outlined below)
- A DNF result is not counted as a race participation
- Races must be USA Cycling Competitive events (non-competitive events such as the Tues night practice crits are not included).
- For example, Salt Creek, Cow Skin, Saturday and Sunday at Tulsa Tough, and Flint Ridge would meet the race day requirement.
- Race Team applicants must carry an annual USAC licence that lists team membership as "360 Sports" (license # required for application)
- Prize money will be pooled between all team members participating in a race
- Participation in mandatory team meetings and functions
- Complete and report two volunteer activity for the team (e.g. helping with race promotion, leading team group rides, squad captains, assisting with administrative duties).
- As a member of the race team, you are required to wear your race team kit to all rides and events
- Race Team members must carry an annual USAC licence that lists team membership as “360 Sports”
- Mandatory participation or volunteering at all 360 Sponsored events
- Must be a paid 360 Sports club member ($35 annual fee)
Race Team Benefits
For 2012, Race Team Benefits are now distributed differently depending on your official USAC racing category
Benefits to All Race Team Members
All race team members, regardless of category will receive the following
benefits:

All racers, after meeting their initial race day requirement (determined by
their category), will be paid $100 for each set of 4 race days completed

Racer reimbursement payouts will be made immediately upon completion of the
requirement (this year you won’t have to wait for the end of the year to get
your reimbursement check)

Race team members can purchase additional clothing (jerseys, bibs, socks,
helmets etc) at cost

Privileged discounts on select 360 sports products in the store (as determined
by store management)

Privileged discounts on bike repair and maintenance (race team bikes only,
pricing determined by store management)

Participation in Race Team only activities such as Spring Training camp, monthly
meetings and clinics, and race team organization activities
Category 5 Racer Benefits

Immediately upon completion of 5 race days, reimbursement for a 360 Sports
racing jersey ($60) in their requested size (annual USAC license number is
required on this application)

Immediately upon completion of 5 race days, racer will be reimbursed $125 ($25
per race)

Race Team helmet at subsidized cost

Upgrade award of $25 for upgrading to category 4 before December 1st 2012
Category 4 Racer Benefits

A free 360 Sports team kit (racing jersey and bib shorts) in their requested
size

Immediately upon completion of 8 race days, racer will be reimbursed $200 ($25
per race)

Race Team helmet at subsidized cost

Upgrade award of $50 for upgrading to category 3 before December 1st 2012
Category 3 Racer Benefits

A free 360 Sports team kit (2 racing jerseys, 2 bib shorts, race team helmet) in
their requested size

Immediately upon completion of 12 race days, racer will be reimbursed $300 ($25
per race)

Upgrade award of $100 for upgrading to category 2 before December 1st 2012
Conduct
Participation on the race team and access to team benefits are pursuant to you meeting the race team requirements as well as your conduct as a bike racer. In the rare case where a race team member’s behaviors or actions are deemed by the race team director and our sponsor, 360 Sports, to not be in line with with the rest of the team, we reserve the right to remove that racer from the race team and withhold any benefits that may be entitled to the racer.
